Choice of Governor of South Africa , Cape Town, November 17. English-speaking circles, despite their personal approval of the Hon. Patrick Duncan, regard his appointment as Governor-General as a political blunder. The “Cape Times” says that the selection of Governors-General from the ranks of political parties might soon produce serious results.
