SOCIAL PROGRESS

During last week the Brooklyn group of the AVomen’s Social Progress Alovement held their concluding meeting for the year. After the ordinary business had been transacted, Airs. Ingley entertained with two delightful songs. Tea was then served, and Aliss Al. Seaton, who was the speaker for the afternoon, gave a graphic account of her recent trip to the Conference of Pacific Relations. Her address was greatly appreciated and members asked for further information regarding matters referred to. Aliss Seaton kindly extended her talk to embrace these points. Votes of thanks were proposed by Airs. Gittings and Aliss Niven, and, after a “request” item by Airs. Ingley, the meeting was brought to a close by the president, Airs. Nicolson.
