Alarming Reports Without Foundation “THE TIMES” INQUIRES (Received- November 17, 1.35 a.m.) Loudon, November 16. The Rome correspondent of “The Times” says that alarming reports about the Pope’s health are authoritatively declared to be without foundation, His Holiness benefited by his summer residence at Castel Gandolflo. Moreover, he recently granted a number of audiences and delivered addresses. It is admitted that the Pope has lost some of his former physical activity, and is frequently carried to the threshold of the audience hall. His kidney complaint of long standing is causing some preoccupation. His Holiness has aged noticeably in recent months and is troubled with asthma.
