ASSESSMENT COURT

Two' Cases Considered Two applications were considered by the Assessment Court at Wellington on Saturday. One was by Robert Johnston concerning land at the corner of Cuba and Marion Streets, and the other was by James Frederick Buck in respect of a section in Ribble Street, Island Bay. Judgment in the’first case was reserved and the valuation in the second was sustained. The court consisted of Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M. (president) and Mr. H. E. Leighton (Government assessor) and Mr. R. C. Burton (local body assessor). Mr. C. Buckingham appeared for the Valuation Department
