Stud Stock Expert’s Mew Position Having accepted a position eu the stud stock staff of Bennett and Fishes, Ltd., stock and station agents, Adelaide, South Australia, Mr. G. M. Blytb, who has been attached to the staff of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., for the past three years, will sever his connection with that company on May 31. Mr. Biytli will sail by Hie Wauganella on June 4 lor Australia. During his term at the head office staff of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, at Wellington, Mr. Blyth has been a member of the stud stock department, being concerned largely with the exportation and importation of stud animals ot all breeds, and has also attended to the publicity and advertising. Through his contacts with breeders in all parts of the country lie has become widely known in the rural areas. Before joining the staff of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Air. Blyth was with the Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society, Hawera, for two years, having left the reporting staff of the “New Zealand Herald” after four years’ service to take up that appointment. Bennett and Fisher, Ltd., the firm that Mr. Blyth will join in Australia, has numerous branches throughout South Australia. Recently it has made considerable purchases of New Zea-land-bred sheep. A number of these animals will be shipped on the Wanganella, and it will be Mr. Blyth’s duty to take care for their welfare on the journey. At Melbourne he will also take charge of other purchases which will arrive from New Zealand on the Waitaki, via the Bluff. Two days before sailing from New Zealand, Mr. Biytli will be married to Miss M. Shepherd, Highland Park, Wadestowu. Messrs. R. I. Carney, of the Christchurch staff. and R. V. Brown, Weraroa, have been appointed to the head office staff to replace Mr. Blyth in the stud stock department.
