PLUNKET SOCIETY

Sandon Branch Honours Past President Mrs. F. S. Collier was the hostess at a delightful afternoon tea party on AVednesday in honour of the past president of the Sandon sub-branch of the Plunket Society, Airs. J. H. Perrett. During the afternoon musical items were given b.v Mrs. F. S. Collier and amusing competitions were won by Mesdames AV. J. Rowan and F. S. Collier. Miss Margaret Collier presented Mrs. Perrett with a beautiful bouquet and later in the afternoon opportunity was taken by the secretary of the society. Mrs. T. A. Adams, to present Mrs. Perrett witli a silver bedroom clock from the members as a token of their appreciation for (be long years of service Mrs. Perrett bad given in the interest of I he branch.

Mrs. Perrett, acknowledging the gift, said she bad always found it a pleasure to work in the interests of the society and deeply appreciated the gift.
