PUMPKIN PIE Boil some pumpkin, drain it, and press through a sieve. To 2 cupfuls of the mashed pumpkin allow 2 well-beaten eggs, J cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon. 1 teaspoon ground ginger, a little nutmeg, and the grated yellow rind of 1 lemon. Line a shallow piedish or deep tart: plate with short crust pastry, till witli I lie pumpkin mixture, and bake for from half to threequarters of anihour in a quick oven.
