MONDAY’S WRESTLING

Boesch, Dropkick Artist, to Meet Blomfield In most wrestling seasons in the past the enthusiasm aroused by tbe match nt the Town Hall last Monday night would be experienced probably once in a year, but owing to the wealth of talent available to the Dominion union this year big attendances are likely to be the order. It is already certain that there will be little room to spare next Monday when Paul Boesch and “Lofty” Blomfield enter the ring, the bookings being almost as heavy as last week. Blomfield’s reappearance here is overdue because he i.« a certain drawing card, not only >be-

cause of his repeated successes iu the ring, but also because of the tactics be pursues. Though one of tbe biggest wrestlers in the country he cap move very fast, and to his already wide range of holds he has added' a new one which he rails the “octopus clamp” and which is reputed to be very effective. Boesch, who is always fast and spectacular, relies very largely on dropkicks, which he has used to beat some of the best men in the game. Another specialty of hiss is a short-arm scissors twist which is entirely novel >n this part of the world. There will be amateur preliminaries from S o’clock.
