Establishment of Research Station Consideration of a proposal for the establishment of a station for research into animal nutrition is to be given by representatives of Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, and Massey Agricultural College. Palmerston North, who are meeting ip Wellington this week. The conference Ims been called for the piirpose by the Department of Scientific- and Industrial Research. No definite auiiouiicemeiit of its intention to establish such a research station lias been made by the Government. lint the calling of the present conference is taken in some circle-, to indicate that consideration of the suggestion lias reached an advanced stage. Whether the station, if established, will be located at Lincoln or at Palmerston North is a question to which considerable importance will be attached.
