Shandon Ladies’ Club Following is the draw for the coronation medal and Aotea Roa cup competition, to be played on Sunday next by the Shandon Ladies club: —Miss Davidson and Mrs. King, Mrs. Evison and lliss Robinson, Mrs. Burke and Miss Hodgins, Miss Gaynor and Mrs. Ryan, Miss M. Vallance and Mrs. Sandham, Miss Levy and Miss Wilson, Miss Sidford and Miss Read, Miss Barnieoat_ and Miss Geddis, Miss Pownall and Miss Walker, Miss Kendall and Mrs. Low, Mrs. Hegarty and Mrs. Hipkins. Miss Oughton and Miss Ellison, Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Findlay, Miss Rowe and Miss Priestly, Miss Souter and partner. Waiwetu Ladies’ Club The L.G.U. medal round and monthly spoon, played by the Waiwetu Ladies’ club on Saturday, were won by Mrs. Johnston, with 95-26-69. Mrs. Johnston also won the weekly ball, and gained three points in the Winter Cup. Mrs. Hatfield, 91-18-73, gained two points, and Mis s Findlay, 97-23-(4; Mrs. Smith, 96-22-74; Miss Reid. 109-35-74; and Miss Sheehy, 110-36-74 all gained one point. Miss Sheehy won the weekly ball in the junior grade. Entries for the ladies’ Pulley Cup will open next week-end, and a four-ball bogey will be played on Sunday. The following will represent Waiwetu ladies against Shandon ladies at Waiwetu on Saturday:—Mrs. Hatfield, Miss Horman, Mrs. Smith, Miss Findlay, Mrs. Johnston, Miss Milne, Miss Frazer, Miss Cochrane, Miss Taylor, Miss McGrath, Miss Reid, Mrs. Palmer. Boon v. Tunnell, Tarrant v. Francis, Watt v. Findlay, Dodson v. J. Johnston, Campbell v. Hardcastle, J. Aitken v. Hughes, Reid v. Butler, Stroud v. Kittelty. A medal round will also be played on Saturday, and a four-ball bogey on Sunday. Whakatiki Club A bogey competition was played on the Whakatiki links on Saturday, and resulted in a tie between H. Skinley and J. B. Crawford, the play-off to be decided during the week. On Sunday a stroke competition resulted in a tic between B. Scott, J. A. Dunn and R. Randall, the play-off to be decided next week-end. One of the most promising junior players, 11. Skinley, holed his tee shot at the seventh hole on Sunday. This hole is over the pond and is a great mental hazard. The penalty was paid in the usual manner. The ladies’ bogey competition was won by Mrs. Wilkie. Paekakariki Ladies’ Club The following is the draw for the Coronation Medal and Aotea-roa Cup to be played next week-end by the Paekakariki ladies’ club, play to commence in order of the draw: Miss R. Smith and Mrs. Murray, Miss J. Smith and Miss Gaskell, Miss Robinson and Miss Taylor, Mrs, Bowden and Miss Murphy, Mrs. Marshall ar.d Miss Grimstone, Miss Chote and Mists Wallace, Miss Lyndon and .Mias James, Miss Hutcheson and Miss Clarke, Miss Black and Miss Lynch, Miss Battersby and Mrs. L, Smith. C players will arrange their own partners. fi'he best scores in the first eclectic round were: Mrs. Sherwood, 92-13-79; Miss R. Murphy, 103-24-79.
