DOWRIES FOR BRIDEGROOMS
Mr. A. Schanzer, a member for the New York State Legislature, lias introduced a scheme providing £lOO wedding gifts for all men who marry after the age of twenty-one. The proposal is that all baby boys will be compulsorily insured for that sv.m by the State at birth. If the boy dies before he is twenty-one the money reverts to the Stale. If he lives it will be paid over to him on his wedding morning.
