Roadmaking in Southern Abyssinia.—One of the urgent necessities of the Italian armies in Abyssinia now that Addis Ababa has been reached is the provision of solid reading as communication for the supplies for the troops during the coming rainy season. Above is shown a gang of native labourers with the assistance of all modern appliances forming one of the lines of communication in Southern Abyssinia.
