Evening Service From May 25 to May 29 Arrangements have been made by tlie Post and Telegraph Department to keep its offices throughout New Zealand open until 8 p.m. from Monday, May 25. until Saturday, May 29, for the registration of cars. In Wellington there will be a staff from Ihe Post and Telegraph Department. and one from the traffic department. of the city otirporalion at the Concert Chamber from May 25 to 29, I he former for I he issue of registration notices and number plates, and the latter for the renewal of drivers’ licenses. All motor vehicles on the road are to carry the new number plates on Monday, Juno 1, As a rule, the Concert Chamber is utilised for this purpose for a longer period than Ihe one week, but. owing to lettings that has not been possible I his year.
