The Institute of Export was inaugurated yesterday by a number of prominent leaders of the business world. The organisation will work for the development of the British export trade by raising the general standard of export practice, providing specialist training, promulgating rules of professional conduct and providing information and research.
The founders represent all interests concerned —manufacturers, merchants, shipping and insurance companies and bankers. The vice-presidents include Lord Jlelchett, Lord Hirst, Sir Harry Jlacgowan, Sir George Beharrell, Sir George Jlacdonagh, Lord Wakefield, Sir Malcolm Robertson and Sir Francis Goodenough.
