LANTERN LECTURE

Poultry Federation Branch A lantern-slide lecture by the Rev. W. F. Stent, of Carterton, was given to members ,of the Hutt Valley branch of the N.Z. Poultry Producers’ Federation in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Lower Hutt, recently. The subject: .of the lecture was the incubation of eggs, from the day the egg was placed in the incubator to. the day the chicken was hatched. The slides, which showed the formation of the chicken in the egg throughout; the incubation period, s were interesting and instructive. The lecturer was welcomed by the president. Mr. A. G. Mumby, and at the conclusion’Mr. E. B. Wainscott, the vicepresident, proposed a vote of thanks.
