, Jones—Grenfell The wedding was solemnised at the Alethodist Church, Lower Hutt, on AVednesday, of Eve, daughter of the late Air. and Airs. Harding Grenfell. Oamaru, and Dudley Sander, son of Airs, and the late Air. A. Jones, Pirinoa. The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Air. A. F. Grenfell, Invercargill, wore a hydrangea pink lace frock made with cowl neck, fitting cowl sleeves, and slightly trained. Iler velvet hat was of a deeper shade, and she carried a posy of pom-pom dahlias of a deep pink shade. Her sister, Aliss Norma Grenfell, who attended her, was in a frock of beige lace, made similarly to that of the bride, and a hat of beige velvet, and carried a posy of deep-toned pom-pom dahlias. Air. Trevor Hume. Pirinoa, was the best man, and the Rev. G. F. Stockwell was the officiating minister. A reception was afterward held in the Methodist schoolroom, where Air. and 'Airs. R. J. Laurenson received the guests, the latter wearing a frock of pink and black figured marocain, with black taffetas coat, and black sisal straw hat. AVhen Air. and Airs. Dudley Jones left, the latter wore a rose-rust angora hat and frock, and nigger brown coat. Churchouse—Darlington The wedding took place at ■ All Saints’ Church, Palmerston North, on Tuesday, of Anne Evelyn, second daughter of Mr. and Airs. 15. Darlington, “Burwood,” Rakaunui, and Claude, third son of Air. and Airs. Churchouse, PongaToa. Canon AVoodward officiated. The bride wore palest green millikanet, moulded to the figure, with dainty frilled puffed sleeves, and full frilled skirt with tiny rosettes of bud roses. A beautiful long brussels veil and white sheath boquet completed the model.
