MARKETS DISTURBED
Germany’s Wool Embargo
Fremantle. May 9.
Mr. Devereau, London representative of the Australian Woolgrowers’ Council, who has arrived by the Maloja, said:— “When I left England conditions in ail European wool markets were somewhat disturbed by reason of Germany’s temporary embargo on imports of raw wool and tops. Until trade restrictions in European countries are lifted, the uncertainty in trade must continue.”
