Sir Alexander Hood
Sydney, May 8.
The death is announced of Sir Alexander J.arvie Hood, aged 73 He was a distinguished surgeon.
Sir Alexander Hood was born in Glasgow in 1860, and went to Australia in 1884. being in practice in Sydney up to the time of his death. He was an honorary consulting ahysicaii to the Sydney Hospital. During the War he was Senior Phvsician, with the rank of LieutenantCoionel, in the Australian Army Medical Corps.
