CROQUET PRIZES

Mt. Victoria Presentations A very enjoyable closing afternoon was held recently by the Mount Victoria Croquet Club. Competitions were held and keenly contested. Mrs. Wallis, in the absence of the president, Mrs. Colin Campbell, presented the following prizes won during the season :—A Grade, Mrs. Bush; McGill Gup (handicap), Mrs. Dempsey; runner-up, Mrs. Chirnside; Norwood Rose Bowl, Mrs. Dempsey ; runner-up Miss Boyce ; Intermediate Championship, Mrs. Dempsey ; B Championship, Miss M. Jordan; runner-up, Mrs. Rowe; Langdon Ring, Mrs. Rosenberg; Mrs. Meyer’s cup for most improved play, Mrs/Pearson; Handicap Doubles, Mrs. Bush and Mrs. Marshall. The members expressed their regret at the illness of Mrs. Campbell, and extended best wishes for her speedy return to health.
