BROOKLYN HARRIER CLUB

Thirty members, of the Brooklyn Harrier Club ran from St. Matthew’s Hall, Brooklyn. Three packs, in charge of J. Miller, A. Morrison and V. Fitzgibbon, followed a hilly six miles’ trail laid by A. Naulls and S. Dougail. The going in places proved very treacherous after the recent rain, but the trail-layers favoured the roads for the greater part of the run. Leaving the hall the trail crossed Ohiro Road to follow Tanera Crescent down to Aro Street. A turn was then made up through Central Park, across'Ohiro Road, down to Wallace Street, and after skirt-, ing Prince of Wales Park the stiff climb was made to Connaught Terrace. From there the paper led to Berhampore. then up the ridge and along Mills Road, back to the hall. Next Saturday’s run will be from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Lee, 102 Kr.inui Road, Hataitai.
