Wellington Waterfront Over Week-end ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES Arrivals and departures of vessels were unusually heavy at Wellington over 1 the week-end, 25 arriving and 14 sailing. Of that number, ■eleven, were overseas ships. The arrivals included the Port Alma, Port Chalmers, Otaio, Middlesex and Port Nicholson, which already have discharged or loaded cargo elsewhere in the Dominion. In addition to these were the tanker, Storanger, from San Pedro, and the Bencruachan, from Port Kembla. Of the larger vessels, the Canadian Constructor sailed for Sydney, while the ’Port Alma, Bencruachan and Abel Tasman left for other New Zealand ports in furtherance of discharging or loading operations. The total tonnage of all the vessels which arrived or departed over the week-end was about 87,777.
