OFFICIAL OPENING
West Coast Gold Mine . By Telegraph.—Press Association. I Westport, November 3. Addison’s Gold Mining Co. held its ofliclal opening to-day, a large number of representative citizens attending the company’s works and sluicing operations.
Speeches were made by the mayor, Mr. J. Kilkenny, Mr. G. N. Powell, chairman of directors, Mr. E. R. Fox, chairman of the Niven County Council, and Mr. lan Simson. Mr. Powell stated that from four shifts gold valued at £135 had been recovered.
