Dance for Tennis Tourists A delightful dance, in honour of the visiting tennis players, Messrs. Perry, Wilde, Lee, and Malfroy, was arranged by the Wanganui Tennis Association and held in the Savage Club Hall on Tuesday evening. There was a large attendance, among those present being Mesdames M. Lampe, P. O’Toole, C. Smith, Morgan Duncan, Im Oren, J. E. Marsh, Misses B. Skeet, M. Johnston (Feilding), J. Currie, M. Pawson, J.' Pepper, 0. Ziesler, M. Morris, E. Wheeler, M, Smith, M. Morris, T. and J. Sti’outs, D. Polson, S. Nancarrow, B. Pownall, M. Goodall, M. Latham, J. Watters, A. Webb (Martinborough), E. Collins, L. Hunter, C. Hammond, J. Burnett, D. Moye, M. and J. Pepper. Mrs. Acton Kellick, Mangamahu, Wanganui, was hostess on Saturday at a delightful gift afternoon in aid of Mrs. W. Tye’s sewing stall at a forthcoming bazaar. All kinds of garden games were enjoyed. Tire FordeU branch of the W.D.F.U. held their final dance for this season last week, when bush greenery and streamers made effective decorations. This branch has done extremely well all through the winter, With bright entertainments.
