BUSINESS TEA

DJ.C. Staff Entertained Last evening. 200 .members of the staff of the D.1.C., Wellington, were entertained as guests of the management at 'a business tea held. in. the company’s tea room. ‘ Mr. W. Simm, manager for Wellington, gave a brief addrdss upon the year’s activities and strusk a note of optimism in his forecast' of future conditions. He introduced Mr. R. I. Allender, assistant manager, who gave an interesting addrr«s- on matters of general interest to the staff.

During the tea musical items were rendered by Messrs. Fancourt and Osborne and Miss N. Gamble.
