HOSTILE TRIBESMEN
Whites Killed in New Guinea FIGHT FOLLOWS AMBUSH (Received Jan. 26, 8.45 p.m.) Canberra, Jan. 26. Hostile tribesmen in the Mbrobe district, New Guinea, killed two white men, Messrs. William Naylor and Emile Clarius, and nine native carriers on January 7. The white men were prospectors working in the native area. A Government party went to the scene and were ambushed, and in a subsequent fight three natives were killed. There were no Government casualties. ,
