FIFTH BANKRUPTCY

Robert Sievier’s Affairs London, Jan. 24. The public examination in bankruptcy of Robert Sievier showed liabilities of £4689 and assets £55. Bankrupt admitted four previous failures from which he had been discharged. He had been in the hands of the moneylenders since 1929. He attributes his insolvency to lack of remunerative employment and depreciation in the value of bloodstock. At a meeting of Sievier’s. creditors in November, the Official Receiver reported that on the previous occasion of his bankruptcy with liabilities of £100,006 no dividend was paid. The debtor's only occupation since 1929 had been editor of a sporting journal with a salary of £2OOO a year. His expenditure in 193132 was at the rate of £l5OO a year.
