POLICE STONED
Communists in Cologne (•'Times" Cable.) London, Jan. 24. “The Times” Cologne correspondent says that three Communists were killed when the police scattered a procession of 800 Communists marching through Cologne and shouting invectives against the Government. They started stoning the police, who were compelled to fire in self-defence. The Communists later reassembled in the centre of Cologne, where, after setting fire to a tram, they launched another stone attack. The police were again compelled to fire, seriously wounding four. Several police were also injured. All political demonstrations have been prohibited, until further notice.
