ARRIVAL IN LONDON
Bands of Hunger-marchers London, Oct. 26. Hunger-marchers numbering 2000 have reached the suburbs. They were welcomed by mass meetings of unemployed, accommodated in schoolrooms, and church halls, and provided with food, baths, and medical attendance. The contingent arriving at Acton was headed by a piper and the Red fla StMr. Copeman, the leader of the Norwich contingent, was dismissed from the Navy after the trouble on the warships at Invergorden last year, when the men protested against reductions in pay. Buglers and drummers led the South Coast marchers, who are arriving at Wimbledon.
