A DOG’S LIFE

rpilE last addition to the cast of "J" “Fireman, Save My Child,” a Warner Bros. First National picture, was a small brown mongrel dog. According to advice this performer casually wandered on tb the set one day, promptly fell tn love with Joe. E. Brown, and refused to be dismissed. He tagged along at the star’s heels wherever he went. Finally, strong measures were resorted to. He was picked up and deposited outside the studio gates. Within half an hour he had returned to “work.” It was eventually decided that as the pup refused to be evicted it would be better to accept him as a member of the cast, and therefore in the picture he is to be seen fondly following Joe Brown to fires and baseball matches.
