STAGE “HIT” FILMED
SAID to be the outstanding .“hit” of the present Broadway season, “The Animal Kingdom,” a new comedy by Phillip Barry, will shortly be adapted to the. talking screen. . Ann Harding will be co-starred with Leslie Howard in the production. The purchase of the play marked the culmination of weeks of spirited bidding by several film companies. The production will mark the return of Leslie Howard, to Hollywood after a lengthy absence. Howard’s last appearance in Wellington was in that delightful ' “Service For Ladies,” a film that did not receive the .support that it deserved.
