SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

Thursday’s concert at the Sailors Friend Society, in the hands of Miss M. Lennie, was in every way one that suited the taste of the seafarers. This was shown in the demands for encores and the way in which choruses were sung. The performers were Mrs. 11. Aplin. Misses Lennie, Greewood, M. Pilcher, R. White, and Messrs. L. "Whyte, R. D. Bennett. Siber, It. Delton, Lock, Williams. Dellow, and Power. Miss M. Lennie was at. the piano. The hostess and ladies then served supper The competitions Were of an amusing nature. Prizes came from Mesdames Hayes and Blair.
