IN “BRAID SCOTS”

Presbyterian Church Service A unique service which should make a strong appeal to the Scottish community of Wellington, will be held in St. John's Church, Willis Street, Sunday evening at 7.30 o’clock. The whole service will be conducted in the “braid Scots,” and instead of hymns being snug, the items of praise will consist of the metrical Psalms of David to the tunes so well known to the Scottish people. The Psalms with their historic tunes have woven themselves into the very warp and woof of Scottish history. Reminiscent as they are of the struggles of the people on mountain, heather and brae, they still haVe power to move the heart of every true Scot, wherever he may be found. The service will be conducted by the Rev. T. W. Armour, of Knox Church, Christchurch.
