Marton Resident’s Will
MASTERTON BENEFITS Dominion Special Service. Masterton, January 12. Under the will of the late Mr. G. A. Wraggland, also known as George Manson, of Marton, and formerly of Masterton, bequests valued at approximately £2OOO are made, several of them to Masterton institutions. The Income from three £lOO debentures will be paid in perpetuity to the committee of ,the Marton Primary School, the Mount View Primary School at Marton, and the Marton Junction Primary School, for the purpose of maintaining and Improving the children’s playgrounds. A property in Ngahina Street, Marton, will go to the Marton Plunket Society, and another in the same street to the Presbyterian Church at Marton Junction, for the furtherance and support of the Sunday School. The residue of the estate will be divided into five equal parts, one of which is bequeathed to each of the following:—The Masterton Public Hospital, the Masterton Plunket Society, the Masterton Borough Council, for the purpose of maintaining and improving the Masterton Park, the Primary School at Matahiwi, near Masterton, and the Marton Salvation Army.
Two thousand of the 3218 women on the dole in Camberwell, London, .are married, according to official statistics.
