, Mrs. Beaufort; who has been visiting relatives at Mastertoil, has returned to Pahiatua.

Miss A. Pragnell, of Wellington, is staying at Masterton. Misses J. Cunningham, N. Grant, E. Caldwell, Mr, and Mrs. F. C. Brockett, and Miss Esme Brockett have returned to Masterton from The Chateau, .Tongariro National Park. Miss Joan Webster, who has been the guest of Mrs. Gillies, Wanganui, has returned to New Plymouth. Mrs. H. V. Hammond, Wanganui, is visiting in the Feilding district. Mr. and Mrs. R. Scott, who have been the guests of Mrs. M. Duigan, Wanga-nui.-liave returned to Raetilii. Mrs. Campbell Christie and Miss J. Christie are Wanganui visitors to the South Taranaki goif tournament. Mesdames G. Clark and J. Patterson, and Messrs. R. Beadle and H. T. Harle, were the card winners at the Wanganui Technical College Parents' Association party held this week. Mrs. Andrews. Palmerston North, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. McFarlane, Wanganui. Misses N. Grace and M. Blyth are Wanganui visitors to Hawera to attend the South Taranaki golf tournament. Miss Hina Fletcher. Marton, who has been the guest of Mrs, W. L. Young. Wanganui, is visiting friends at Waverley. Miss Freda Fletcher, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Park. Wanganui. Miss R.
