BANKING TRANSFERS
Palmerston North, September 4, Following the announcement that Mr, J. Carter, the Union Bank of Australia at Palmerston North, has been appointed manager of the Brisbane branch of his bank, several other changes In position have been effected. Mr. J. M- Saunders, the Wanganui manager, will replace Mr. Carter, while Mr. W. E. G. Paqualin, the Masterton manager, will proceed to Wanganui to take over the Wanganui branch. Mr. W. T. Irvine, a former Palmerston North employee of the bank, who is managing the Walpukurau branch, will be transferred to Masterton in Mr. Paqualln's stead.
