SOCIAL ACTIVITY

Card Evenings at Waiwetu The weekly “500” evenings conducted by the Waiwetu Home and School Association continue to be well attended. On Monday evening prizes were won by Mrs. Ord and Mrs. Clapham, and by Mr. Whiteman and Mr. Foley. The recent success of these evenings has made it possible to provide further equipment for the school and to carry out a much-needed drainage system of the playing fields. The evertings will continue each Monday at the Waiwietu School.
