HOSPITAL CONCERT

A concert, organised by Mrs. Hayman, was given recently by the central branch League of Mothers to the patients in the Women’s Ward, Victoria Hospital. Items were given by the following:— Mrs. Clark, song; Mrs. Croft, song; Mrs. Crump, song; Miss Sutherland, song; Miss Wharton, recitation: pupils of Miss Hazel Martin; Thomson Bros., tap dancing; Mr. Anderson, hospital patient, song; Joan Harris, recitation, and many others. Mrs. Robb was pianist, and Miss Hazel Martin played the piano for all the dancing items. A hearty vote of thanks was given to Miss Martin and her pupils, all the performers, and to Mrs. Hayman, the organiser.
