WEDDING.
HALL—LISSAMAN. On August 20 there were about 200 guests at the wedding of' Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lissaman, of Waireka Station, Marlborough, to Henry Hall, son of the Rev. Mr. Hall and Mrs. Hall, England. The ceremony, performed by the Rev. Mr Schurr, of Seddbn, took placein the garden at Waireka. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a periwinkle blue taffeta frock made with fitting, long-sleeved bodice, and ankle-length skirt, a wide coral pink felt hat, and a string of coral beads. Her bouquet was of white sweet peas and pink carnations. Misses Margaret and Rachel Lissaman were bridesmaids, and wore pale pink crepe de chine frocks with coatees of the same material, and wide biscuit-coloured felt hats. They carried bouquets of spring flowers. Mr. Ivo Lissaman was best man, and Mr. Jack Eggleston was groomsman. The bride’s mother wore a figured black and yellow erepe de chine frock, and a black hat with touches of yellow, and carried a bouquet of narcissi and red leaves. Mrs. F. Lissaman, aunt of the bride, wore a saxe blue • taffeta and georgette frock, a black hat, and carried a bouquet of Japanese irises. Mrs. Kelsey Lissaman. who has just returned from England, wore a saxe blue wool crepe de chine ensemble and a small blue felt hat.
Miss Kathleen Lissaman, of Christchurch. sister of the bride, wore a long brown figured silk frock'with a wide brown felt hat. Mrs. Latter, of Picton, aunt of the bride, wore black, with touches of lavender, and a small black felt hat. Others present were: Mr. and Mrs. A. Latter, of Queen Charlotte Sound: Mrs. Eggleston, of Christchurch: Mr. and Mrs. Stocker, Dr. and Mrs. Bennett. Mrs. Clouston, Mr. and Mrs. Hursthouse. Mr. and Mrs. Woods, Mr., Mrs. and Misses Mowat (2), of Blenheim; Mrs. G. B. Hazelwood, Mr. and Miss Foster, of Picton; Mr. and Mrs. Irving, of Blind River; Mr.. Mrs. and Miss Andrews, of Birch Hill; Mr. and Miss Mcßae, of Altimarlock; Mrs. Simpson, Miss Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Western, Mrs. Schurr, Miss Smith, of Seddon; Misses Betty Long, of Nelson; Joy Coster, of Anakiwa; Mary Latter, of Long Beach; Diana Seymour, of Ngakuta; Messrs. Latter, Clouston (2), and Mcßae. When Mr. and Mrs, Hall left. on their honeymoon. Mrs. Hall was wearing a fitting grey tweed coat and saxe blue felt hat. / ' At night Mr. and Mrs. Lissaman held a dance at Waireka homestead.
