Mrs. E. Lee

The death took place last Sunday of Mrs. Ellen Lee, aged 75, a resident of New Zealand for 62 years. She came from Sydney as a child with her brother-in-law and lived at Taita for some time. Later she resided in Foxton and Otaki, having married the late John Jillett. Her husband died at ah early age, leaving her with four children. Subsequently she married the late Mr. Wilford Lee, of Otaki, who was accidentally killed a few years ago. Among the surviving children are Mr. John R. Jillett, of Porirua ; J. F. Jillett, of Trentham, Miss M. M. Jillett, of Otaki, and District Nurse Lee, of Wanganui. There are seven grandchildren, including Mr. L. Jillett, of Auckland, and Mr. Douglas Jillett, of Manatahi.
