It ap pears that the regulation, imposing a fee for the Students’ Association is ultia VI No comment was made concerning this portion of the letter, which requested that the Students’ Association fee should be remitted in the case of those training college students who, though they might attend lectures at Victoria College, did not belong to any of the university clubs. The writer of the letter pointed out that Canterbury College charged o/- to training college students, for the ktu dents’ Association fee, but Canterbury College, in another letter, suggested that one of the subjects for discussion at a conference of the colleges should, be the full payment of students’ association tees by training college students. Auckland University College wrote stating that intimation had been received from their Students’ Association that the Training College Students’ Association did not desire any change, feeling that the good relations at present existing between the two bodies should not be jeopardised by undue regard to “financial niceties.” They expressed appreciation of the treatment which they had received from the Students’ Association and the Council of the University.
