NEW POWER LINE
Bunnythorpe to Palmerston Palmerston North, June 13. The new electric power transmission line from Bunnythorpe sub-station to Palmerston North has been connected up with the electrical system of the borough, and is now in permanent commission. The cost of the line was £5OOO, which was borne by the ManawatuOroua Power Board, in execution of an agreement with the Palmerston North Borough Council. The line is 4J miles long, and required 27 tons of copper cable. . ’
