Annua! Meeting of Society The annual meeting of the Clydesdale Horse Society of New Zealand was held in Dunedin recently. The following were elected members of the council: —North Island: Messrs. J. Harding (Waipukur.au), W. H. Campbell (Hastings), W. G. Park (Te Awamutu), W. J. Wallace (Cambridge). South Island : Messrs. J. A. Johnstone (Dunedin). G. C. Thomson (Dunedin), J. D. Wyllie (Sefton), and Andrew Grant (Fairlie). . . The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Sir. R. .D. Knight (Longburn, Maiiawatu) ; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Thomson (Kelso), J. D. Wyllie (Sefton). A. McNicol (Clevcdon), W. G. Park (Te Awamutu); treasurer, Sir. Alex. Hunter (Hawera). Dr. Reakes stated that Cabinet had approved of the Stallions Bill, that it had been read, and would be brought dox\ n for next session.
