EVAN HAYES’S BODY FOUND (Rec. December 31, 9.10 p.m.) \ Sydney, December 31. A message from Mount Kosculsko reports the discovery of the body of Evan Hayes, the young man who, with a companion, Laurie Seamans, perished during a snowstorm at Koscuisko in August, 1928. The body was found by two shepherds about half‘a mile from the spot where'the men’s tracks were lost. A large search party had scoured ‘the whole mountain for several days between August 16 and 23, and succeeded in finding only Seamans’ body near the summit of Koscuisko.
