PETONE BEACH CARNIVAL
Although tho bad weather had the effect of spoiling somewhat yesterday’s session of the Petone Beach Carnival, the promoters entertain optimistic views for the days to come. At the carnival is every kind of attraction calculated to please the public. ■ There are hoop-las, swing boats, performing dogs and monkeys, a merry-go-round, and an ocean wave, sweet stalls, and dozens of novelties. ’ The carnival will continue until January 4. Record attendances are expected at New Year. The secretary is Mr. O. Silbery.
