QUARRY PLANT DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whaiigarei, December 27. At 3 o’clock on Boxing Day morning the Tauraroa stone crushing plant with buildings was totally destroyed by fire. The quarry is owned by the Public Works Department, and supplied metal for the railway, main highways, and some of the county councils in the north.
