COMMANDER EVANGELINE BOOTH IN LONDON CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE DESIRED (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. December 29, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 29. Commander Evangeline Booth, the General’s sister, lias arrived from America to attend the High Council at Sunbury on the Thames on January 8. The General has not been informed of the arrival of any delegates, or even of the summoning of the Council. Although there has been steady progress in his health, the doctors do not agree that he should be informed. (Rec. December 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 29. Commander Evangeline Booth, in an interview, said she had not come to steal the throne, but practically every leading officer in the High Council de sired a constitutional change within the Salvation Army. December 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, December. 28. “If elected to succeed my brother,” said Commander Evangeline Booth, when interviewed by the “Dally News” on board the Olympic, “I shall not object.”
