STOLEN MOTOR-CAR

FOUND DOWN MOUNTAIN CRATER Dominion Special Service. Auckland, December 30. Motor-car thieves . have been busy during the holiday season. A fiveseater car was stolen from outside a service station in Elliott Street last night. The pwner, A. L. Hammond, was working in the station at the time, and the car lights were switched on. At 9.30 the car was standing outside the door, and half an hour later it was missing. The car was discovered this morning at the bottom of Mount Eden crater. It appeared as if the thieves had pushed the car over the edge. The vehicle was completely wrecked. Two other cars disappeared last night.
