Many of the 368 holiday makers bound for Glppsland decided to abandon the outing, and returned to their homes. (Rec. December 26, 10.50 p.m.) Melbourne, December 26. The Board of Inquiry into tlie Kooweerup railway accident obtained a statement from Porter Gow, aged 22, allegedly admitting having pulled the wrong lever, which caused the accident. Only four of the injured now remain in hospital.
