OPENING OF SEASON. The opening of the season of the Wellington Centre, New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, was held on Saturday afternoon at Te Aro Baths. The centre, in conjunction with the Wellington club, staged a few races which resulted as follow:— 50 Yards Handicap.—J. C. Blakeley (scr.), 1; H. Claridge (3sec.), and R. S.
