PROPOSAL FOR RONGOTEA. Palmerston North, October 27. Prior to his address to the electors, at Rongotea, on Friday night, a deputation consisting- of members of the surrounding school committees, waited on Mr. J. Linklater, M.P., official Reform candidate for the Manawatu seat, regarding the progress of the proposal to erect a dental, clinic at Rongotea. Mr. Linklater stated that it was his intention to place the matter before tlie Minister of Health. He would use his utmost endeavours to further the matter.
